Sorrel to Open a New Manufacturing Facility

Sorrel Medical, an Israel-based developer and manufacturer of wearable drug delivery devices, announced on July 7, 2020 that it is opening a new manufacturing facility with cleanroom facilities to further scale its wearable drug delivery devices.

According to a company press release, the new site will offer initial design and development, low-volume manufacturing, and scalable high-quality production of wearable drug delivery devices. With the new 80-m² cleanroom, the company will be able to increase its production capacity to hundreds of thousands of units per year.

“As Sorrel continues to grow, this new facility will enable us to support global pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners to bring next-generation drug delivery solutions to patients," said Bentsi Algazi, vice president of Operations at Sorrel, in the press release. "These enhanced production scale-up capabilities will enable us to positively impact countless patients living with chronic and high burden conditions."
