Event Overview:

Accelerating the development of mRNA vaccines and therapeutics requires the selection and use of raw materials designed to meet critical process, scale, quality, and regulatory needs. Choosing appropriate materials saves time and money. This presentation reviews several examples of how raw material selection either accelerated or stalled regulatory approvals. This presentation will cover:

  • Criteria for selecting appropriate materials for developing and manufacturing mRNA therapeutics and vaccines
  • How to select the best raw materials for each stage of development and manufacture an mRNA vaccine or therapeutic
  • Case studies of the raw material decisions made by various companies and how those decisions impacted their drug development project

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Understand some of the key requirements for selecting raw materials for mRNA therapeutics and vaccine development and manufacturing
  • Learn how to match the appropriate material with the process of drug development and manufacturing
  • Review examples of companies who made good or bad decisions in raw materials and how those choices impacted their projects

Who Should Attend:

  • Process Development Scientists, Engineers and Managers
  • Manufacturing Engineers and Managers
  • Principal Investigators
  • Senior Research Associates
  • Bioprocess Engineers
  • Strategic Sourcing Managers
