Kimberly-Clark Professional introduced the Kimtech A8 Zippered Lab Coat for liquid and particle protection for ISO 7 and 8 or higher cleanroom environments.
Kimberly-Clark Professional introduced the Kimtech A8 Zippered Lab Coat for liquid and particle protection for ISO 7 and 8 or higher cleanroom environments.
In response to customer requests for a more secure closure, the company equipped the new lab coat with a nylon zipper and no-pocket design, rather than the typical snap design, which runs the risk of contamination to people and processes because of gaps between the closures and the possibility of the snaps falling off, according to a company press release.
The lab coat is available in sizes small to 6XL with anti-static three-layer spunbond meltblown spunbond fabric, a mandarin collar for added protection, and soft knit cuffs. It can also be recycled through The RightCycle Program, a recycling program for non-hazardous lab, cleanroom, and industrial waste.
