PerkinElmer Acquires Avalon Instruments, Adding Raman Spectroscopy Capability

PerkinElmer Inc. (Wellesley, MA, www.perkinelmer.com) has acquired Avalon Instruments Limited (Belfast, Northern Ireland).

PerkinElmer Inc. (Wellesley, MA, www.perkinelmer.com) has acquired Avalon Instruments Limited (Belfast, Northern Ireland). The acquisition expands PerkinElmer’s molecular spectroscopy product portfolio by adding a line of bench-top dispersive Raman spectrometers, for bulk analysis and microscopic imaging.
