Event Overview:

As the demand for large-scale bioprocessing and chromatography grows, column packing at process-scale has become a critical focus area. Whether working with rigid, noncompressible media or highly compressible resins, the success of a purification process depends on uniform, reproducible packing that maintains packed bed integrity, minimizes channeling, and ensures consistent product quality.

This panel will bring together resin and column manufacturers, packing experts, and an end-user who needs the ability to pack a broad variety of resin types to satisfy their customers’ purification requirements.

The panel discussion will explore strategies for packing various resin types, general best practices, and real-world insights and lessons learned from years of packing process-scale chromatography columns. Whether you are optimizing packing for noncompressible media or troubleshooting scale-up issues with compressible resins, this panel offers a unique opportunity to gain practical packing methodologies and valuable insights that can help to improve separation performance at process-scale.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Hear from experts with hands-on experience in packing various resins
  • Gain insights into packing strategies for noncompressible and compressible resins
  • Get tips for enhancing performance and reproducibility in column packing
