Event Overview:
USP Dissolution Apparatus 1 and 2 have been used since the 1970s to evaluate drug release from formulations available at the time. However, pharmaceutical science has evolved significantly since then. Today's products may be chewable, contain nanoparticles, deliver very low doses, or include compounds with poor solubility. Each of these characteristics presents unique challenges for dissolution testing. In this webinar, we’ll explore how you can continue to use Apparatus 1 and 2 effectively to meet today’s testing needs despite these new formulation complexities.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Learn about small- and large-volume options available for USP Apparatus 1 and 2.
- Learn about options for products needing higher shear forces.
- Explore the challenges and hear about solutions in working with nanoparticle formulations.
- Learn about approaches to test products other than solid oral dosage forms.
- Understand software and automation options to meet compliance requirements.
Who Should Attend:
- Dissolution scientist/dissolution analyst
- Lab managers
- Lab supervisors
