Bioreactor Harnesses Single-Use Process

Sartorius Stedim Biotech’s Sartoclear Dynamics is a clarification system designed to harvest mammalian cell cultures with high cell densities using single-use technology. Ultrapure diatomaceous earth (DE) is available in prefilled single-use bags in sizes ranging from 0.5 kg to 10 kg. The system allows DE to be mixed into the cell culture fluid via a quick-connect adapter for dust-free powder transfer, while filter blockage is prevented by a porous filter aid. The system’s fully single-use process enables harvesting of cultures up to 2000 L.
