The newly elected officers for 2008–2009 are: Chair, John Shabushnig, Pfizer Inc.; Chair-Elect, Maik Jornitz, Sartorius Stedim Biotech; Secretary, Rebecca Devine, Regulatory Consultant; and Treasurer, Anders Vinther, Genentech, Inc. The 2006–2007 Chair, Vincent Anicetti, Genentech, Inc., assumes the office of Immediate Past Chair.
Laura Thoma, University of Tennesee, was reelected for a second term as a director. In addition, there are five new directors joining PDA’s board, including: Harold Baseman, ValSource LLC; Véronique Davoust, Pfizer Inc.; Lothar Hartmann, Hoffman-La Roche; Stefan Köhler, AstraZeneca; and Michael Sadowski, Baxter Healthcare Corporation.
