Aseptic Robot Decreases Cycle Time
Denso Robotics’ VS-050 aseptic robot is a six axis-machine with an ISO 5 cleanroom rating for biocontamination control. The robot is designed with a protective outer coating and sealed joints for decontamination purposes. Free from external screws or wires, the control-cable connector is located on the bottom of the robot to allow for easy cleaning and streamlining.
With an overall arm length of 520 mm and a maximum composite speed of 9690 mm/sec, the robot is available with payloads up to 4 kg, a reach of 520 mm, and repeatability of ±0.02 mm. The VS-050 robots are designed for applications such as assembly, dispensing, inspection, machine tending, material handling, packaging, and test handling. The compact design is ideal for small work spaces.
