SingVax Names New Chairman

The vaccine development company SingVax Pte Ltd. (Singapore, www.singvax.com) has named John Brown, PhD, as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Brown was CEO of Acambis until 2004. SingVax focuses on developing prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases prevalent in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has two products in the pipeline, one for Japanese Encephalitis, and the other for Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease.
