National Center for Toxicological Research Appoints New Director

William Slikker, Jr., PhD, has been appointed Director for the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR, www.fda.gov/nctr). Slikker has been serving as the Acting Director since January 4, 2006. Slikker will continue NCTR’s mission to conduct peer-reviewed research targeted at developing a scientifically sound basis for regulatory decisions and reducing risks associated with FDA-regulated products.
