In vitro glycoengineering (IVGE) works by modifying glycosylation enzymatically after proteins are harvested. A specific sugar is linked to a compatible N-glycan backbone in a straightforward and scalable cell-free enzyme reaction. IVGE therefore separates terminal glycosylation from depending on cellular function during fermentation. Watch to learn more about the process and optimization of IVGE reactions.
