for life-sciences research and protein-based drug production. Widely known as the premier brand of quality sera for cell
culture, HyClone is also a leading brand of classical media, serum-free and protein-free media, process liquids and flexible,
single-use BioProcess Container (BPC) systems, which are sterile, disposable bags specifically designed for transporting,
mixing, dispensing, and storing sterile liquids and powders.
HyClone operates facilities in many countries. The primary manufacturing location is Logan, UT in the US where sera, media,
reagent, and bioprocessing container products are made. Other chief manufacturing locations include Novato, CA, Cramlington,
UK, Tauranga, NZ, and Beijing, China. Additional facilities include sites in Australia, Belgium, Canada, and western China.
Major Products and Services
HyClone provides cell culture sera, media, and reagent products, including FBS, calf, and FBS alternatives, classical, serum-free,
and animal derived component-free media, supplements, buffers, sterile water, and reagents, as well as single-use flexible
bioprocess container products, related rigid support vessels, and single-use mixing and bioreactor systems. HyClone also provides
customized products to meet specific customer requirements.
